Purpose:
- To promote understanding of the many influences on wellbeing at work
- To enable managers to understand why and how to promote a mentally healthy workplace that minimises stress for employees.
OVERALL ASSESSMENT

- This well-researched user-friendly e-learning tool provides accurate and evidence-based information, and offers a comprehensive source of information on the subject of stress at work.
- The e-learning tool is engaging and dynamic, with a combined use of information, statistics and evidence, quotes and vignettes.
- The design is appealing and visual images compliment the text work well.
- The practical exercises and intermittent tests of knowledge help maintain interest and motivation.
- Managers can use this tool at a convenient time and at their own pace to improve their knowledge and skills about managing stress at work, as opposed to attending a training course.
- There are links to excellent sources of information such as HSE, Jobcentre Plus, Shift and Mindful Employer.
- The links to North East websites and local information would need to be adapted before the e-learning tool could be used more widely by employers.
- It is disappointing that the tool is not going to be evaluated.
- Overall, the e-learning tool will provide a very useful resource for managers.
