Purpose:

  1. To increase knowledge about ways of preventing and coping with stress and improving mental wellbeing at work
  2. To promote understanding of the influences on wellbeing at work
  3. To enable people to look after their own and others wellbeing at work

  • This user friendly e-learning tool provides comprehensive information to help employees understand about ways of preventing and coping with stress and improving mental wellbeing at work.
  • The factual information provided is accurate and evidence-based, and takes account of relevant legislation such as the DDA.
  • The e-learning tool is engaging, with a combined use of information, visual images, evidence and personal stories.  
  • The design and interactive nature makes it very accessible, flexible and an appealing resource for employees to use.
  • There are links to excellent sources of information such as HSE, Jobcentre Plus, Shift and Mindful Employer.
  • The links to local information of relevance to the North East would need adapting before the e-learning tool could be used by employees elsewhere.
  • Overall, the e-learning tool will provide a very useful resource for employees.
