About the Shift Media Network
The Shift Media Network is a web site where people from all over the country can get in contact with each other, share documents and information and discuss topics related to mental health and the media.
About the Knowledge Community
The Shift Media Network is powered by the Knowledge Community website. The Knowledge Community - or KC for short - is a website set up and run by the Care Services Improvement Partnership that allows people to work together and share information easily.
To get the most out of the Shift Media Network, you will want join the KC. This will allow you to see and share resources posted on the network, take part in discussions and get in touch with other members.
If you are not already a member of the Shift Media Network or the Knowledge Community, you can register in one easy step by clicking the red register button on the Network's home page.
If you are a member of the Knowledge Community but haven't yet joined the Shift Media Network, click the 'Join this group' link towards the top of the Network's home page.

Viewing and adding resources
You can add all kinds of different information to the Shift Media Network. You might want to put up information about a project that you're involved with or know about. Perhaps you know a website or document that other people in the network may find useful.
You can browse resources that have already been added to the network by signing in to the Shift Media Network and by clicking on the 'Group resources' link on the left hand side of every page.
If you would like to add some resources for other people to see, click the "Share your resource" link at the top of resources section.
Members of the Shift team may add or change tags and other information to make it easier for people to find information in the network.
The help section of the Knowledge Community has some short movies that show you how to search for documents on the KC, add resources and events and perform other common tasks. Click here to browse the current selection of movies.
